  • The timber selection process begins in the forest : trees are cut into logs, sized and graded to minimize waste for conversion into the end product.
  • The sawn material is dried using computer controlled kilns ensuring the moisture content is an evenly distributed 13 % (+/- 2%) throughout the timber sections.
  • All the defects such as Knots, resin pockets, surface shelling, shakes are removed.
  • The clear pieces of timber are end joined by an automated finger- joints system to a maximum 6000mm long profile.
  • The finger jointed lengths are machined to thickness to produce a Lamella.
  • The Timberprofile section is made of 2, 3, 4 or 5 lamellas.
  • All external lamellas always have radial or half radial grains and selected under the supervision of highly trained technicians.
  • The whole production process is based on the requirements of the German Institute of Window Techniques in Rosenheim (Institut für Fenstertechnik (IFT) Rosenheim) therefore our products are certified with IFT quality mark. The highest European certification available.
